We publish these details under Section 4 of Act No. 22/2004 Coll. on Electronic Commerce and Section 3a of Act No. 513/1991 Coll. (Commercial Code).

2. What this website is, and what it is not

This website is a company presentation. It shows what we can build and for whom.

It is not an online shop. Nothing here can be ordered or bought. There are no user accounts and no basket.

Nothing on this site is an offer. Service descriptions, references and technical details are there to give you a sense of our work. They are not a proposal to conclude a contract within the meaning of Section 43a of the Slovak Civil Code and they bind no one.

Contracts come about differently. If we want to work with you, you will receive a written quotation setting out scope, price and lead time. A contract arises only when you accept such a quotation, or when we confirm your purchase order — never by submitting a form on this website.

We work with businesses only. Our products are jigs, fixtures and special-purpose tooling for industry. We do not sell to consumers.

This document governs the use of this website only. Our general terms and conditions for the supply of goods and services are issued individually with each quotation.

3. The contact form

The form is for enquiries. Submitting it means only that you have sent us a message — nothing more. It creates no obligation on us to reply within any particular time, or at all, and gives you no entitlement to a quotation.

How we handle the data from the form is set out in our Privacy Notice.

Please do not send confidential technical documents or drawings through the form. If you need to send us such material, email us first and we will agree a safer route.

4. The content of this site belongs to us

Text, photographs, technical drawings, the logo and the design of the site are protected under Act No. 185/2015 Coll. (Copyright Act) and trade mark law.

You may: browse the site, print pages for your own use, quote us with attribution and a link, and share a link with a colleague.

Without our written permission you may not: reproduce text or photographs on another website or in print, use our logo or company name, scrape the site automatically, or use its content to train machine learning models.

If you need to do any of these, email office@distler.engineering. In most cases we will agree.

5. What we are and are not responsible for

We try to keep the content accurate and current. Technical data, dimensions and manufacturing capabilities change over time, and we confirm them only in a specific written quotation.

We are not liable for:

• loss arising from a decision you make solely on the basis of information on this site, without a written quotation or written statement from us;
• availability of the site — it may be down for maintenance or because of an outage at our hosting provider;
• the content of third-party sites we link to.

This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence and does not affect Section 386 of the Slovak Commercial Code.

6. Cookies

The site uses cookies. Strictly necessary ones are needed for it to work. Everything else is stored only after you consent through the banner shown on your first visit.

You can change or withdraw consent at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer. Details are in our Privacy Notice, section 2.5.

7. Governing law and disputes

Any relationship arising from the use of this website is governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. The courts of the Slovak Republic have jurisdiction.

8. Changes

We may change these terms. A new version applies from the day it is published here and changes the date shown at the top. It does not affect contracts already concluded.
